Trivia or interesting facts from today's travels:
Today started out pretty much back on schedule. One very
notable event was that the temperature went up about 30 degrees since yesterday. Once into the desert, our 70 we enjoyed down in southern California all of a sudden was near 100 degrees. This was the first day we used the air conditioner in the jeep. We would have melted away without it!!!!!
Today was mostly a day on the road. We didnt see a whole lot of things of interest. It was very hard even finding stuff to put on the page today. You might have noticed that this page was a day late posting, you know how it is when you go out in the desert, luckily we finally did find our way out & back to someplace where the internet was accessible. The other reason for the lateness of the page posting
was that once in Phoenix, we had lots of social activites to attend to. We didnt get in until after 3am, nearly 4am. That was a bit late to try and upload the web page. Hopefully the next day's page will be better than today's.
